As your pharmacy benefit manager, Express Scripts by Evernorth® wants you to know about an important coverage change for Humira — and how they can help.

Throughout the year, Express Scripts asks an independent panel of doctors and pharmacists to review and compare all the medications available. When the panel finds multiple medications for the same condition that are equally safe, your coverage may change to keep your overall plan affordable.

As a result of this review, the Humira brand will not be covered for patients new to therapy effective January 1, 2025. For existing patients, Express Scripts by Evernorth® will ensure the transition to the biosimilar medication is seamless for you and your doctor by establishing continuation of therapy for current Humira patients through June 30, 2025. Ask your doctor about the list of preferred alternatives below.
