In August, our health center vendor, Cerner Workforce Health Services (WHS) announced they were acquired by Marathon Health, one of the industry’s leading providers of employer-sponsored healthcare.

While the business acquisition took place on August 1, 2023, effective December 5, 2023, Marathon Health will take over technology and electronic medical record systems of Carpenters Wellness Center. The commitment to the health and well-being of our employees remains our number one priority. There are no changes to the clinical care team at Carpenters Wellness Center or the level of care you have come to expect. You should experience no disruption in your healthcare.

As a reminder, all employees, spouses and dependents on plan are eligible to receive care. Services provided through Marathon Health include preventive care, sick care, chronic condition management, chiropractic, medical massage therapy and pharmacy services. Appointments are available in-person or virtually at times that are convenient to you. And the best part – services are available to you at little to no cost.

With little or no wait time for appointments and longer visit times with providers, patients at Marathon Health often see significant improvements in their overall health.
