Carpenters Wellness Center has been open since September 2019. Participants and their families alike are reaping the rewards of the care they experience in the wellness center. In fact, the center’s patient success is based on what’s referred to as a medical home model.
A medical home is a comprehensive, patient-centered model, where a primary care physician works with a team of providers to support patient care. Choosing a medical home for your regular medical care can help you manage your day-to-day and long-term healthcare needs.

Manage your health more easily with Marathon Health’s Patient Portal. Through the portal you can:
- Virtual care experience: after scheduling a virtual visit on the Marathon Health Portal, you will receive a link to fill out required forms or other requested information. You will also be able to check-in for your appointment. You will receive an email or text before your appointment time to join your virtual visit. This can also be done directly through the portal or Marathon Health app.
- Opt-in access to your appointments: allow family members to view your upcoming and past appointments, as well as schedule appointments on your behalf, by accessing the “Family Permissions” section under your “Profile & Settings.”
- Link wearable devices: connect your Garmin or Fitbit wearable device by selecting the “Connect Your Device” button found under the “News” section of the Marathon Health Portal.
- [Coming Soon] A new scheduling experience: the guided scheduling tool helps you select the right reason for your appointment, the most convenient time for your visit, and the method of meeting with your provider (telephonic, virtual or in-person) that works best for you.
