Effective January 1, 2023, the medical and behavioral health network for non-Medicare participants moved to UnitedHealthcare (UHC)/UMR. Non-Medicare participants now participate in UnitedHealthcare’s Choice Plus PPO Plan.
How can I find an in-network provider?
Finding an in-network UMR provider is easy. Visit umr.com, then you have two options for finding a provider.
Option 1: Log in
Using this option, your provider search will direct you to only UHC Choice Plus providers.
Option 2: No Log in required
Without logging in, you will still be able to find in-network providers that meet your needs, but you will have to select the UHC Choice Plus Network to be directed to the correct providers.
Who can I contact for help?
Carpenters’ Participant Services is available to serve you during our regular business hours. After January 1, UMR customer service will be available before and after hours for support Monday – Friday, 7am – 8am, and 4:30pm – 7pm. Simply call Carpenters’ Participant Services and follow the prompts for assistance with medical claims and benefits outside normal business hours.
