Senad Sabanagic, DPT

Dr. Senad Sabanagic earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Maryville University in Saint Louis where he also studied for his undergraduate bachelor’s in health science. Prior to Carpenters Wellness Center, he practiced at another Peak Sport & Spine clinic not far in Tower Grove where he worked in a gym setting treating a high volume of sports medicine injuries.
He was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the end of the war. He and his family came to the U.S. when he was the age of only 2-3 years old. He has lived in Saint Louis ever since in Bevo Mill areas and now South County.
Dr. Senad sees all sorts of injuries but is most passionate about shoulder, knee, and low back pain. He believes in hard work and staying consistent to a program in order to feel better. When he’s not practicing, he keeps himself busy playing basketball regularly, reading books, and looking for the next place to travel to with his wife, Adela, and dog, Charlie.
